When we talk about nouns we mean the names of things, qualities, people, animals, actions, places and ideas. Nouns are common single words, but there are certain exceptions because nouns are divided in common and proper nouns. Common nouns refer to daily and normal things; for example: car, apple, eye, etc.                                                             While proper nouns refer to specific, special, or unique places, things, animals, etc. Proper nouns begin with capital letter; for example: New York City, Sony, Kevin, etc. We have to know that the name of a person is a proper noun, therefore it will begin with capital letter. The words that name weeks, months and holidays also begin with capital letter.    

Some examples of sentences that contain nouns (common or proper) are:

• Her cry could be heard above the crowd.
• There is great danger in those woods.
• Pedro is playing soccer.

Nouns also involve the noun or nominal phrases. These phrases have a noun as their central (head) word, or acts as a phrase in a grammatical functional context. As their name indicates they are the most common type of phrases. Noun phrases can be identified by the possibility of pronoun substitution, and it is necessary to look for the subject noun phrase.

Pronouns are defined as words or phrases that can be substituted for a noun or a noun phrase, and when it is replace, it is known as the pronoun’s antecedent.              

The most common pronouns are he, she it, we, you and they, but there are some more. These pronouns follow some rules which are:

• Subject pronouns may be used to begin sentences. 
• Subject pronouns may also be used to rename the subject. 
• Indefinite pronouns don’t have antecedents. They are capable of standing on their own. 
• Object pronouns are used as direct objects, indirect objects, and objects of prepositions. These include: you, me, him, her, us, them, and it. 
• Possessive pronouns show ownership. They do not need apostrophes. 

Some examples of sentences that contain pronouns are:

• We are going to eat a pizza.
• She did a great job at the concert.
• It was the best moment I had in my life. 

TV and Cine Entertainment

TV and Cinema Entertainment

The big and small screen is a reference to the television and cinema, both of them are a type of entertainment. These types of entertainment are used by us to have a good and enjoyable moment, or just to help us to kill time. Through the television and cinema we can watch series, animated short films, movies, etc. And these types of entertainment are also divided in a lot and varied group of sub-categories.

Some type of movies and series are the cartoons, cartoons are not exclusive for kids, but there is a bigger amount of kids that enjoy cartoons and their stories than oldest people. Cartoons are usually in the comedy and fiction category. Most of the cartoons are designed to be fun and less serious so that people can laugh and smile while they watch cartoons, obviously there are always exceptions.

We can also mention the series of young adolescents, these type of series are about the daily life of adolescents mixed sometimes with some fantasy or a hyperbole tone. Most of these series are acted by real actors and cartoons didn`t take part in these programs. These series have a lot of comedy but they also include the romance and a part of reflection regarding the problems of life.

If we talk about the cinema we can see a clear similarity, because the most significant difference between television and cinema is the format and way in which the entertainment (movies,series,etc) is viewed, the rest is just the same. As well as in music, we can also find art and beauty in the world of cinema and television, but surely you already knew that. In conclusion the television and cinema are a way of entertainment but they are also a type of art that is divided in different categories.

Music is an indispensable part of the daily life of people nowadays, this means that  there are a lot of ways in which people can express their feelings, ideas and thoughts through music. Therefore because of these differents ideas and feelings there will be a lot of different music styles, and these types of music will have a story to tell and a rhythm to follow and enjoy.

We can talk about a lot of famous musical composers, but I think that people do not make music, music makes people and because of this reason we have to know the different types of music more than names of composer, so we will start knowing about one of the most famous types of music which is the classic music.

Classic music is serious music following long established principles rather than a folk, jazz, or popular tradition. In this type of music we found the symphony, concerto, and the sonata. For some people this music is kind of boring, but for a true musician this is a true art of sounds and harmony that is put together in a masterpiece.

Music is a huge world that needs to be discovered, the human doesn`t discovered all the posivilities in this beautiful wolrd yet. So now is your turn to discover the unknown through and instrument, through your voice or just through your ear. And remember that all kind of music is beautiful not because of it`s intention but because of it`s nature.

During the human history the people have learned how to tame animals for their benefit, but there are other people who go beyond simply using animals as a tool. These people start to have animals just to take care of them and to have the satisfaction of see their own animals in their houses, farms or in any place they chose for the animals to dwell in.

Having a pet means a lot of things, a pet is not only an animal you are going to keep, but a companion. Through time and problems you will creat a great and strong bond with your pet, He or she is going to care about you as you care about she or he, therefore you have to give always the best  of you when we talk about your pets cares and conditions.

There are a lot of animals you can choose to be your campanion to the day to day. You can choose between different breeds of dogs or cats. But if you prefer a smaller companion you can choose a hamster or other types of roders. You can also choose a reptile which are really clean and calm animals. So there is a lot of animals that could be adapted to your way of life and conform to your tastes.

So what are you waiting for? Go now and look for your own mate, because life is easier and happier if you share this path together with someone. And remember that animals are living beings as you, theredore treat them in a good and correct way, only then you will feel the joy of having a pet. Toronto is Canada’s largest city and is North America’s fifth most populous municipality, with a population of 2.7 million people.

The Greater Toronto Area, usually called the GTA is home to 6 million people.

Canada’s government expects the GTA’s population will reach 7.7 million by 2025.

Where to Live in Toronto

Suburbs such as North York, Markham and Richmond Hill and the Halton region  are favoured by families and are among the best places to live in Toronto.

Single men and women tend to prefer the downtown core, where the condominium market has exploded over the last decade.

Government housing is prominent in some parts of west Toronto and higher crime rates are recorded in these areas, such as Jane & Finch, Lawrence Heights, and parts of Etobicoke such as Rexdale. In downtown Toronto, Parkdale, St. James, Regent Park and Moss Park have high crime rates. To the east of the city, parts of Scarborough such as Malvern also have higher crime rates.

Education 

The University of Toronto is one of the world’s most prestigious post-secondary institutions, ranking 24th in the Academic Ranking of World Universities. There are three different campuses, located in the Downtown area as well as the west and east.

Toronto is also home to two other universities, Ryerson and York University as well as several community colleges.

Ontario’s school teachers are amonst the highest paid teachers in Canada. Unfortunately, the supply of teachers in Ontario exceeds the demand, and finding work is not easy. Indeed, it’s common for Canadian trained teachers to move overseas to gain experience.

Environment and Getting Around

Toronto is one of the very few North American cities in which people can choose not to own a car without suffering major inconveniences. This is largely due to The Toronto Transit Commission, North America’s third largest public transit system.

The TTC’s far reaching and reliable network of buses and streetcars are interconnected by an extensive underground subway system. The buses are newly manufactured hybrid electrics, introduced to reduce air pollution.

Toronto also has Zipcar, a membership car-sharing service that is billable by the hour. This service is most frequently used in the downtown.

In this beautiful country you can find a lot of opportunities, this means that, in opposite of United Estates, Canada give more opportunities of job and life to the foreign. You will receive more support from the Canadian government, so if you want to study there you will have a lot of chances which are going to lift you up in your professional career.

Canada is also a secure country, is true that there is no a complete secure place in all the world, but Canada is a country with low level of criminality, this has been achieved because of the good structure that the county use to monitor and control the daily activities around the country and the really good attention a service from the Canadian cops.

Life in Canada is also enjoyable, this country offers a good sense of serenity and calm, this is because of the laws that protects the environment and every single area inside and outside the cities in the country, there is a low level of contamination in the country, so you will see a clean urban and rural area and you rarely will feel the same amount of smoke that you smell in counties like Guatemala.

If you want to be part of this great country you have to follow a good amount of rules, this doesn’t mean that the country is an empire that opposes laws just because, but this is a country that really wants to make a positive impact in its people and land, and also in all the word. So you have to inform about the laws and regulations and follow them in a correct order to live as a peaceful but have citizen of this great nation.
